Check-In area 14 is the new face of Dublin Airport and its completion is the first phase of an exciting new development within the airport. Dublin Airport Authority sought to transform a former double height basement storage area into a vibrant modern check-in area capable of handling up to four million passengers a year. A baggage handling system has been constructed adjacent to the check-in at basement level and passengers are also provided with a new vertical ascent route to facilitate direct access to the enlarged security area at Departure level.
