The BioScience Building provides research, post-graduate & undergraduate laboratories with ancilliary rooms and office accommodation. The plan form is in response to the specific brief requirements and contextual conditions, effectively segregates the deep highly serviced laboratory areas from the smaller teaching and ancillary facilities. Office spaces to the Biosciences department are separated further to provide a more intimate working environment. Moloney O’Beirne have acted as Architects for NUI Maynooth since the early nineties. They have worked on a diverse range of projects for both National University of Ireland and St. Patrick’s College Maynooth ranging from new build to restorative commissions.
